]]> It is with great pleasure and pride that we announce that the municipality of Thalwil has entrusted us with the co-design of part of the interior for the historic Blue House. This particular project represents an extraordinary challenge, as the building is currently closed due to structural defects and is undergoing extensive renovation work. Despite the circumstances, we were able to create unique furniture that perfectly matches the character of the house, with colors that beautifully reflect the lake. , Weand are already looking forward to the opening in late autumn 2024.

Custom-made lava stone tables from Italy

For the Blue House, we have supplied custom-made lava stone tables from our exclusive Milano Line, in a striking, customized blue. Lava stone is known for its robustness and durability, making it an ideal material for tables that are elegant, functional and easy to maintain. These robust tables combine Italian design and the highest level of craftsmanship and are a symbol of “Made in Italyˮ – a quality seal we are particularly proud of.

Our Italian furniture has been designed with great attention to detail to emphasize the special charm of the Blue House.

The Blue House Thalwil: stabilization and renovation

The Blue House has been the focus of regular structural inspections since June 2020, as subsidence in the subsoil led to significant cracks in the walls. By stabilizing the building with new piles and extending the concrete slab towards the lake, the safety of the building was restored. The stabilization work was successfully completed at the end of March 2024 and the building is currently being renovated inside and out. The outdoor area in front of the Blue House is also to be redesigned.

Particularly pleasing: the extension of the concrete slab has created a new balcony with a view of the lake, which will make the Blue House a real eye-catcher once it reopens and will be an invitation to step into the fresh air at events.

Timeless interior design

The interior of the Blue House was completely redesigned following the demolition and renovation work. The municipality of Thalwil commissioned us to design the tables, stools and a chic bar made of lava stone. Our team produced bespoke furniture that perfectly complements the historic ambience of the Blue House. The beautiful color blue of the furniture was created especially for the Blue House and reflects the colors of the lake wonderfully. Our lava stone tables and other pieces of furniture from our Milano Line give the room an air of exclusivity and will add a modern, elegant and even luxurious touch to any event held there.

Opening in late fall 2024

The opening of the Blue House is planned for late fall 2024 and we look forward to presenting the finished project to you.

]]> We would like to thank Stilwerk Düsseldorf for once again giving us the opportunity to present our beautiful hand-painted lava stone tables from Italy on their premises in April 2024. It was a great pleasure for us to introduce our unique designs to customers from the region and to talk to them.

The response was overwhelmingly positive and we were able to make many interesting contacts. Our tables impressed with their individual design, high-quality workmanship and attention to detail. Every single table is unique and tells its very own story.

We are already looking forward to being guests at Stilwerk Düsseldorf again next year and seeing you all again! ]]> Despite their beauty, our volcanic stone tables with ceramic top are absolutely weatherproof. They can withstand even the strongest winter in Siberia!

The volcanic stone is put into the oven twice at about 1000 degrees Celsius, once before it is painted by hand and once afterwards. The table surface becomes so hard that it is absolutely heat and frost resistant. The colour does not fade even in constant strong sunlight. Even acid and salt will not harm the table top. This makes them the ideal garden tables. Irresistibly resistant.
